š Boost B2B Sales with Amazonās New Enhanced Business Reports Filter
Amazon has introduced a valuable update to its Business Reports by adding a new filter distinguishing between Business Buyers and Non-Business Buyers. This enhancement allows sellers to analyze performance metrics specific to their business audience more efficiently.
With this feature, sellers can quickly identify which products generate the most orders from Business Buyers, along with key metrics such as Conversion Rate (CVR) and Average Order Value (AOV) for these transactions. This data gives sellers a better understanding of the purchasing behavior of business clients, an increasingly significant customer segment on Amazon.
Furthermore, this update aligns with Amazonās recent initiatives focused on business-to-business (B2B) selling, including tailored bidding placements for Business Buyers. Sellers are encouraged to use this new filter to refine their pricing, marketing strategies, and product selection to better cater to business customers.
š„ New Amazon Tool: MCF Fast Badges for Higher Conversions and Customer Trust
Amazon has introduced MCF Fast Badges, a new feature designed to help FBM sellers enhance customer trust and increase conversions. By displaying estimated delivery dates on their own websites, sellers using Amazonās MCF can provide shoppers with a clearer and more reliable purchasing experience, addressing a key concern for many customers: delivery speed.
The benefits for Amazon sellers extend beyond just increased conversions. Clear delivery estimates help build trust and may lead to repeat purchases. Additionally, these badges give small to medium-sized businesses a competitive edge, allowing them to match the fulfillment transparency usually found on larger retail platforms.
However, MCF Fast Badges are available exclusively to MCF users and come with additional logistics costs. Sellers should also ensure customers understand which items are eligible for these fast delivery dates, as MCF badges only apply to Amazon-fulfilled products. With the holiday season approaching, integrating MCF Fast Badges could be a strategic move to boost conversions and enhance customer satisfaction on brand websites.
š¬ Amazon Updates Tracking Requirements for U.S.-Bound Shipments in 2025
Starting January 15, 2025, Amazon will update its Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) policy for seller-fulfilled orders, requiring sellers to maintain a VTR above 95% by providing accurate tracking information. This VTR measure aims to enhance delivery reliability and customer satisfaction by tracking the percentage of seller-fulfilled packages with valid tracking data.
The policy changes introduce specific requirements for U.S.-bound shipments from certain regions. For orders from China, Canada, American Samoa, and the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands, packages valued under $5 USD must include at least one carrier scan to confirm transit, while packages valued at $5 USD or higher need two scans: one for arrival at the carrierās facility and another for delivery or attempted delivery. Similar rules apply for shipments from India and the UK, with a higher threshold of $15 USD. These steps ensure accurate tracking for a broader range of shipments, depending on origin and value.
Some shipments will remain exempt from VTR requirements, such as digital products and specific low-value packages shipped domestically or with certain Amazon-integrated carriers. These updates are essential for sellers targeting the U.S. market, ensuring they meet Amazonās standards and avoid performance penalties.
š Amazon DSP Expands Audience Analysis Tools with In-Platform Data Access
Amazon DSP has expanded its audience insights by now offering demographic, shopping, and Prime Video streaming data directly within the platformās interface, which was previously accessible only via API. This update allows advertisers to better understand their audiences through Audience Central, which aggregates user demographics, retail category purchases, and Prime Video streaming preferences.
The new insights are organized into three tabs - Demographics, Retail, and Media - making it easy to analyze audience segments and refine targeting strategies. With these additions, advertisers can access aggregated demographic data, identify top retail categories, and view Prime Video content preferences for various audience groups, all within Amazon DSP.
These enhanced insights are available in regions across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, benefiting both managed service and self-service advertisers. By integrating these data points, Amazon DSP enables sellers to make data-driven decisions and optimize their campaigns with greater precision.
š° Amazon Enhances Coupon Flexibility for Multi-Item Discounts
Amazon has updated its coupon policy, now allowing customers to apply percentage-off coupons to up to five items per order. Previously, customers could only use one coupon per order, which often led them to place multiple orders to maximize their savings. This change aims to simplify the purchasing process for customers and reduce sellers' processing and shipping costs.
When creating a coupon, sellers can now choose whether to limit coupon redemption to one per customer. By selecting "No" for this option, customers can apply a percentage-off coupon to as many as five items in a single order. For example, if a customer clips a 10% off coupon for items priced at $50 each and purchases three items, they will receive $5 off each item, totaling a $15 discount for the order. However, if the same coupon is applied to eight items, only five will be eligible, capping the discount at $25 for that order.
It's important to note that this update does not apply to money-off coupons, which remain restricted to one per order. This enhancement in the percentage-off coupon policy provides Amazon sellers with a streamlined way to encourage multi-item purchases, benefiting both the buyer's experience and the seller's order management efficiency.
š Amazonās Image Manager Now Offers New Country-Specific Image Controls
Amazon has introduced new, country-specific features in the Image Manager tool within Seller Central, providing sellers with better control over their product images across various marketplaces. These updates enable sellers to manage and organize localized images more efficiently, especially for images that contain text in specific languages, ensuring that visuals align well with regional customer expectations.
A key enhancement is the new āCountry-Specific Image Viewsā, which distinguishes global images from those designed for individual countries. This feature allows sellers to easily view both global and localized images in separate sections, offering a clearer overview of images across multiple marketplaces. Additionally, the tool now allows sellers to delete country-specific images directly from the Image Manager, making it easy to remove outdated or irrelevant visuals and keep image libraries streamlined and updated.
These updates aim to simplify the management of regionally customized visuals, helping sellers maintain consistency across Amazonās marketplaces. By effectively organizing images to meet country-specific needs, sellers can enhance their brand presentation and ensure that customers in each market see the most relevant product images.
š Effortlessly Organize Drafts with Amazonās Updated Dashboard Features
Amazon has made significant updates to its "Complete Your Drafts" dashboard, enhancing the tools available for managing draft product listings more effectively. This updated dashboard provides a unified and organized view of all drafts, regardless of how they were created. This allows sellers to streamline their listing processes by consolidating all drafts into a single, easily accessible location.
One of the key features is unlimited storage for drafts, which is essential for sellers with large inventories, seasonal products, or evolving SKUs. This flexibility enables sellers to save as many drafts as they need, preparing listings in advance for special releases or seasonal launches without cluttering their active listings.
Furthermore, the dashboard is now cross-browser compatible, making it easier to access and edit drafts on different devices and browsers. This enhancement will particularly benefit brands that operate in teams or frequently switch between devices.
Overall, the revamped "Complete Your Drafts" dashboard offers Amazon sellers a more efficient way to prepare, organize, and manage their listings, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
