📆 Prime Day Dates Confirmed — Amazon Expands Event to Four Days

Amazon has officially confirmed that Prime Day 2026 will run from June 23–26, giving shoppers four full days of deals across more than 35 categories. The announcement ends weeks of speculation around the timing and duration of this year’s event.

Key points:

  • Prime Day 2026 will take place from June 23–26

  • Event expands to four full days of deals and promotions

  • Discounts will be available across more than 35 product categories

  • Early Prime Day offers are already live ahead of the event

With the dates now finalized, sellers should focus on inventory, deals, advertising, keywords, and listing optimization before Prime Day traffic begins to ramp up.

🆓 Amazon Makes Premium AMC Insights Free Through 2026

Amazon has removed the paywall from its premium first-party AMC insight tables through December 31, 2026, giving advertisers free access to data that was previously restricted.

Key points:

  • Premium Amazon first-party insight tables are free through December 31, 2026

  • Standard AMC advertising data was already free to access

  • Advertisers can now analyze organic and post-purchase behavior alongside ad performance

  • Third-party data sources remain subject to separate fees

The change gives advertisers access to a broader view of customer behavior, including repeat purchases, subscription adoption, product upgrade paths, purchase timing, and long-term customer value.

🤖 Amazon Accelerates Shift Toward AI-Driven Shopping Results

Amazon is expanding AI-generated shopping features across search results. Search pages now increasingly include AI-powered summaries, recommendations, review highlights, and comparison snippets before users even begin scrolling through listings.

Key points:

  • Amazon search results now feature more AI-generated shopping elements

  • Alexa-powered recommendations are becoming more prominent

  • Some listings receive AI summaries while others do not

  • Listing structure and clarity increasingly affect AI visibility

The shift signals that Amazon’s AI systems are increasingly determining which listings are easiest to interpret, summarize, and recommend, making listing quality and structure more important for visibility.

🆕 Amazon Rolls Out New Vendor Central Homepage Dashboard

Amazon has started rolling out a redesigned Vendor Central homepage dashboard. The rollout appears to be gradual, with the most European marketplaces yet to receive access.

Key points:

  • New Vendor Central homepage is now live in the US and Australia

  • UK and most EU marketplaces have not received the update yet

  • Redesign focuses on navigation and dashboard usability

  • Rollout is occurring in phases across regions

The update is part of Amazon’s broader effort to modernize its seller and vendor interfaces. Early feedback suggests the new layout offers a more streamlined experience, making key tools and information easier to access from the homepage.

📊 Amazon Tests Updated Amazon’s Choice Badge Format

Amazon appears to be testing or reintroducing a variation of the Amazon’s Choice badge that displays the specific keyword associated with the designation directly next to the badge on product listings.

Key points:

  • Amazon’s Choice badge now shows the ranking keyword on some listings

  • Update appears limited and is not yet widely rolled out

  • Adds more context around why a product received the badge

  • Could influence shopper perception and click behavior

While the change is subtle, it provides shoppers with greater visibility into the search term tied to the Amazon’s Choice designation. Small marketplace updates like this often signal broader experiments around search, discovery, and product presentation.

🚛 Amazon Tightens Seller Fulfilled Prime Delivery Requirements

Amazon is raising delivery speed requirements for Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) sellers starting July 6, 2026. The update increases the percentage of page views that must display one-day and two-day delivery promises for sellers to maintain Prime eligibility.

Key points:

  • Standard-size products must show one-day delivery on 40% of page views, up from 30%

  • Standard-size two-day delivery requirement increases from 70% to 75%

  • Oversize products must show one-day delivery on 15% of page views, up from 10%

  • Extra-large products must show two-day delivery on 25% of page views, up from 15%

The changes will put additional pressure on SFP sellers, particularly those operating from a limited number of warehouses or relying on regional shipping coverage. Sellers that fail to meet the updated thresholds risk losing Prime eligibility.

️ Amazon Tightens Handling Time Rules for FBM Sellers

Amazon is rolling out new handling time accuracy requirements for FBM sellers starting June 29, 2026. Under the update, Amazon may automatically adjust configured handling times for SKUs that consistently ship faster than the seller’s stated processing window.

Key points:

  • Amazon will monitor handling time accuracy for FBM listings

  • SKUs shipping faster than configured may receive automatic adjustments

  • Changes begin rolling out June 29, 2026

  • Faster promised delivery times may improve conversion rates

According to Amazon, reducing promised delivery time by just one day can increase sales by an average of 5%. The update targets sellers who intentionally pad handling times as operational buffers for delays, staffing issues, or supplier inconsistencies.
