💻 Amazon Tests a Major Redesign of Product Detail Pages

Amazon is testing a new product detail page layout that puts the Buy Box and main image front and center. In the reported experiment, the main image occupies much of the page, while bullets, descriptions, and A+ Content are absent from the initial view.

Key Updates:

  • Purchase options receive more immediate visibility on the product page.

  • The main product image reportedly takes up around 60% of the page.

  • Bullet points, descriptions, and A+ Content are missing from the tested initial layout, with other content appearing further down.

If expanded, this test could change how shoppers evaluate products on Amazon. Clear images and immediately visible purchase information may become even more important. For now, it remains a reported test, not a confirmed permanent change to Amazon’s listing requirements.

🔎 Amazon Tests AI-Generated Lifestyle Images in Search Results

Amazon is testing AI-generated lifestyle scenes that replace some product main images in search results. The change has been spotted mainly in health and beauty, with products appearing in bathroom settings instead of white backgrounds.

Key Updates:

  • Products such as body wash and skincare jars appear in soft, bathroom-style settings on search and product pages.

  • Sellers face strict white-background requirements for main images, raising questions about consistency if Amazon changes them automatically.

  • The test appears to be selective, meaning sellers may only notice the change by viewing their listings as shoppers.

The test raises questions about image compliance and sellers’ control over product presentation. Lifestyle imagery may add context, but main images also need to show products clearly at thumbnail size.

🤖 Amazon Creative Studio Offers AI-Generated Videos for Sponsored Brands Ads

Amazon’s Creative Studio includes an AI video tool that can turn product assets into narrated advertising videos. Sellers can use the Streaming TV workflow to generate videos featuring their products, branding, and listing images.

Key Updates:

  • Sellers select a product, add a logo and brand colors, choose listing images or videos, and generate a narrated ad.

  • Videos created through the Streaming TV workflow can be selected from creative assets for regular Sponsored Brands Video campaigns.

  • The tool gives sellers a way to test different creative angles and promote products that might otherwise lack video ads.

The tool could make video advertising more accessible to sellers with limited production budgets. Testing multiple messages and comparing conversion performance can help identify which creative works best.

📊 Amazon Tests Automatically Created Virtual Multipack Listings

Amazon is piloting a new program that creates multipack listings for selected brand-owned products sold through FBA. The new listings offer options such as “Pack of 4” alongside the original single-unit product page, using existing FBA inventory.

Key Updates:

  • Amazon generates multipack titles, images, and prices for selected products without requiring additional inventory shipments.

  • Multipack prices default to the single-unit price multiplied by the pack size, with no automatic discount.

  • Sellers can adjust prices, titles, images, or discounts through the dedicated Edit Virtual Multipack page. Other editing methods may break the listing, and deleted listings cannot be restored during the pilot.

The pilot could help brands offer bulk purchasing options with minimal setup. However, default pricing may leave multipacks less attractive to customers expecting a discount. Sellers included in the program should review their listings carefully before the November launch.

📆 Amazon Extends Black Friday Deals Submission Deadline

Amazon has reportedly extended the Black Friday Deals submission deadline for sellers who missed the original October 20 cutoff. The new deadline is November 13, 2026, giving sellers additional time to submit eligible promotions.

Key Updates:

  • Sellers can reportedly submit Black Friday Deals through November 13, instead of the original October 20 cutoff.

  • The extension gives sellers additional time to review eligible products, inventory, and promotional pricing.

  • Sellers should check their Seller Central accounts to confirm eligibility and the updated submission deadline.

The extension could help sellers who missed the original cutoff secure another opportunity to participate. However, sellers should confirm the revised deadline and eligibility requirements directly in Seller Central.

‼️ Amazon Sets Final Inbound Deadlines for BFCM Inventory

Amazon’s first inbound shipment deadline for Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM) was October 21, 2026. Sellers who missed the minimum shipment splits cutoff have another deadline on October 28 for Amazon-optimized splits.

Key Updates:

  • October 28 deadline: Sellers can still use Amazon-optimized shipment splits to prepare inventory for BFCM.

  • Stockout risk: Shipments arriving too late may not reach fulfillment centers in time for Black Friday, leaving promoted ASINs without available inventory.

  • Inventory planning: Amazon recommends maintaining at least 28 days of inventory per ASIN and checking Capacity Monitor to assess available storage capacity.

With BFCM approaching, inbound timing can directly affect whether products are available for peak demand. Sellers should review inventory levels and shipment plans before the final cutoff passes.

🌐 Amazon Expands FBA Export to More Than 175 New Destinations

Amazon is expanding FBA Export, allowing eligible products stored in U.S. fulfillment centers to reach customers in more than 175 additional destinations. The program lets sellers access international demand without setting up separate marketplace operations in every country.

Key Updates:

  • Eligible products listed on Amazon.com can become available to customers in newly supported destinations.

  • Amazon says sellers do not pay extra fulfillment costs for participating in FBA Export.

  • Existing FBA Export participants will have new destinations enabled automatically unless they have already restricted specific countries or products.

The expansion offers sellers a simpler way to reach international customers through existing U.S. inventory. However, broader availability does not automatically make every market suitable for every brand.
