Amazon is testing a new AI-driven feature that transforms product detail pages into an audio experience, reshaping how shoppers engage with listings.

Key Updates:

  • AI Audio Summaries: A “Hear the Highlights” button now appears on select U.S. listings in the Amazon app, providing podcast-style recaps of products.

  • Content Sources: Summaries are generated from your product detail page (PDP) copy, verified reviews, and third-party data.

  • Behavioral Experience: Listings are no longer just read; they are now heard. Amazon is designing this feature for multitasking shoppers and promoting an audio-first consumption approach.

A new format of Sponsored Ads known as "Picks from Amazon Influencers" is becoming increasingly prominent in Amazon's search results.

There’s been confusion about Amazon’s upcoming coupon fee changes. Many sellers thought they would be much more expensive, but that’s not entirely true. Starting June 2, 2025, Amazon will implement a new coupon fee structure to promote greater transparency and reduce pricing manipulation.

🆕 Amazon Streamlines Compliance with Dashboard Overhaul

Beginning May 29, 2025, Amazon will move all product and food safety compliance requirements from the Manage Your Compliance dashboard to the Policy Compliance section of the Account Health dashboard.

Key updates:

  • Migration Begins May 29, 2025: Amazon will start moving compliance requirements to the Account Health dashboard, with the full migration expected to be completed in July 2025.

  • New Centralized Compliance Hub: The updated Account Health dashboard enables sellers to manage violations, submit documentation, file appeals, and coordinate with testing providers, all in one place.

  • Dual Monitoring Required During Transition: Until the migration is complete, sellers must check the Manage Your Compliance and Account Health Dashboards to stay updated on all compliance issues.

This migration streamlines compliance for sellers, improving risk management and regulatory adherence. Consolidating violations into one dashboard enhances transparency and efficiency, essential for account health and preventing listing suspensions.

🤖 Amazon’s AI Creative Studio - Game-Changing Tool for Ad Creatives

Amazon’s AI Creative Studio simplifies the creative production process—no design skills or prompts are needed. Just enter your ASIN, and you’ll receive high-quality, platform-ready creatives in seconds.

Key Updates:

  • ASIN-Based Auto-Generation: The Creative Studio can generate images using just your ASIN, making it ideal for beginners.

  • Ad Format Flexibility: Select from various aspect ratios optimized for different Amazon ad products.

  • Style and Feature Variety: Access a range of design styles, including live-motion images, lifestyle edits, and more.

  • Multi-Product Support: Create group images for Sponsored Brands and Amazon Posts.

📩 Amazon Tightens Buyer-Seller Messaging Rules

Amazon has updated its Buyer-Seller Messaging policy, imposing new limitations on how sellers communicate with customers. The focus has shifted from personalization to compliance.

Key Updates:

  • No More “[Important]” Overrides: Sellers can no longer label their messages as “Important” to bypass buyer opt-outs.

  • Messages Must Fit Predefined Types: Only communications categorized as “Permitted Messages” by Amazon are allowed.

  • Templates Recommended by Amazon: Sellers are encouraged to use Amazon’s messaging templates, as these help enforce compliance with formatting rules.

  • Strict Content Restrictions: Marketing messages, thank-you notes, emojis, and any non-critical images or links are prohibited.
