🤖 Amazon's AI Product Summaries Are Reshaping the Shopping Experience
Amazon is increasingly using AI-generated content for search results and product pages, allowing shoppers to quickly grasp key product information through AI-generated highlights that summarize listings.
Key Updates:
AI-generated highlights now appear on product detail pages, summarizing important product information.
The summaries are generated from listing content, including bullet points and product attributes.
Shoppers can quickly understand key features without reading the full product description.
As Amazon shifts to AI for product information, listings are now crafted for both shoppers and AI. Brands with clear, detailed content are likely to gain advantages as Amazon determines which information appears first.

🖥 Amazon Expands Sponsored Product Video to Desktop Search
Amazon is extending Sponsored Product Video (SPV) to desktop search results, allowing shoppers to interact with ads directly in their search, which reduces the need to visit product detail pages.
Key Updates:
Sponsored Product Video ads are now appearing in desktop search results.
The placement features autoplay video, product pricing, coupons, and an Add to Cart button directly within the ad.
Some ads display multiple video clips highlighting different product features.
The desktop expansion increases the reach of Sponsored Product Video campaigns. Brands should produce engaging, high-quality videos to highlight key product benefits, as Amazon enhances video visibility in search.

📈 Amazon Expands Sponsored Products Beyond Amazon
Amazon has expanded Sponsored Products placements to premium third-party websites, apps, and select social platforms, using existing campaign settings. This rollout is currently available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Key Updates:
Sponsored Products can now appear on premium third-party sites and select social platforms.
Existing targeting, bids, and budgets apply, with Amazon choosing placements based on shopper intent and page context.
Advertisers can manage off-Amazon exposure through campaign settings by increasing reach or limiting off-Amazon spend.
Off-Amazon performance can be tracked using the Placement Classification metric.
This update expands the reach of Sponsored Products without new campaigns. Sellers should closely monitor off-Amazon performance to see how these placements impact traffic and conversions.

💡 Amazon Expands Subscribe & Save Reporting With Retention Insights
Amazon has enhanced Subscribe & Save reporting, enabling sellers to gain deeper insights into customer retention. Brands can now analyze completed deliveries to understand subscriber behavior over time.
Key Updates:
Subscribe & Save sales are now segmented by completed deliveries, including 3, 4, and 5+ delivery tiers.
The new reporting helps brands identify where customers are dropping off in the subscription lifecycle.
Sellers can better measure long-term retention rather than relying solely on active subscriber counts.
This update enhances Subscribe & Save reporting, enabling brands to track customer retention, identify churn patterns, and optimize subscription strategies for more predictable recurring revenue.

🆕 Amazon Rolls Out the New Seller Central Experience to All Sellers
Amazon is rolling out the new Seller Central experience to all users. Once migrated, you can't revert to the classic interface. The transition is automatic, so sellers may start using the new layout without prior notice.
Key Updates:
The new Seller Central will become the default experience for all sellers.
Once migrated, the option to revert to the classic interface will no longer be available.
The toggle to switch between the old and new views is still available for eligible accounts.
The update mainly redesigns the interface and shifts the locations of many common tools. Exploring the new layout now can reduce disruption when classic Seller Central is retired.

📆 Amazon Ads Brand Metrics Reporting Is Running Late
Amazon's Brand Metrics data in the Ad Console is no longer updating as expected. Monthly data, usually available between the 7th and 10th, is missing for July 2026, with no consistent update schedule.
Key Updates:
July 2026 Brand Metrics data is still unavailable in the Ad Console.
The current delay makes it harder for brands to evaluate recent customer acquisition and advertising performance.
Advertisers may need to rely on other reporting sources until the data is refreshed.
Brands using Brand Metrics often struggle with reporting gaps in new-to-brand performance and customer behavior, facing delays and unpredictable timelines that turn monthly checks into a guessing game.

❓ Amazon Seller Assistant Can Now Diagnose Featured Offer Issues
Amazon has upgraded Seller Assistant to help sellers understand why their offers aren't winning the Featured Offer. Sellers can now check up to 10 ASINs at once to more easily identify Buy Box issues.
Key Updates:
Offer Buyability: Identifies inventory, listing, or information issues preventing eligibility.
Pricing Eligibility: Shows how your price compares with the current Featured Offer and what adjustment may help.
Delivery Speed: Compares your delivery promise with the Featured Offer.
Regional Coverage: Highlights areas where your offer isn't available for shipping and suggests ways to expand coverage.
Seller Assistant is now more than a reporting tool; it allows sellers to directly ask Amazon about losing Featured Offer status and receive specific recommendations for improvement.
