📱New Seller App Update: Manage Your Amazon Ads Anywhere
Amazon has recently introduced mobile integration for advertisements within the Seller app, giving sellers greater flexibility and efficiency. Here’s how this update can benefit your Amazon business:
Create and Manage Ads on the Go: Easily craft and oversee Sponsored Products ads from your phone, whether you are commuting, at a coffee shop, or on vacation.
Track Performance in Real-Time: Monitor crucial performance metrics in real time and make instant adjustments to optimize your campaigns.
Inventory Management: Handle and refine your inventory directly from the app, ensuring you can track stock levels and meet demand.
This mobile feature enhances efficiency by allowing quick responses to market changes, helping sellers stay competitive. The increased flexibility means campaigns can be managed anytime, anywhere, making advertising strategies more agile and responsive. Real-time tracking and on-the-go adjustments ensure your ads perform at their best, potentially boosting your ROI.
🛒 Amazon Checkout now on Facebook and Instagram!
This new update is a game-changer for sellers. For a long time, there's been a problem with connecting social media ads to actual purchases on Amazon. Customers often got frustrated when they clicked on ads and were logged out of their Amazon accounts, resulting in lost sales. But now, with social attribution, Amazon has finally fixed this issue.
Here's how it works: Now, customers can easily link their Amazon accounts with their social media profiles for a direct checkout. This means they can buy products from their favorite social platforms without any hassle. And it's not just good for customers – it's great for sellers too.
With social attribution, sellers can see exactly how their social media ads are turning into sales. You'll know which campaigns are working and which ones aren't, so you can focus your efforts where they'll have the most impact. Plus, with partnerships with big companies like Meta and Snap, you can trust that everything will run smoothly.
📩 Amazon's New Fees and Returns Processing Update
This year, Amazon rolled out some significant changes to its fee structure, causing a stir among small businesses. With consumers leaning towards more budget-friendly options, sellers are feeling the pinch when it comes to maintaining profits.
Amazon claims these fee adjustments are aimed at covering distribution costs for faster US deliveries. However, many sellers argue that the bulk of the benefits seem to be flowing back to Amazon, especially with seller services revenue hitting a staggering $34.6 billion.
As well as that, starting from June 1, 2024, Amazon expands returns processing fees to high-return products, except apparel and shoes. Fees are charged after three-month periods, exempting products shipping fewer than 25 units monthly and the first 20 returned units for the New Selection Program.
Furthermore, Amazon is adjusting its US Multi-Channel Fulfillment fees, showing an average increase of 3.5%. On a positive note for sellers, new FBA rates for low-priced products are expected to decrease by approximately $0.77 per item. These changes in fees are likely to have a significant impact on numerous sellers, with some expecting profit margin reductions of up to 12%.
✅ Amazon Introduces Product Listing Quality Check for Sellers
Amazon has recently implemented a significant update for sellers: a thorough quality check during campaign setup. This new feature provides sellers with immediate feedback on the quality of their product listings before their ads go live.
The purpose of this proactive measure is to streamline the advertising process by identifying and addressing potential issues early on, thereby reducing the need for troubleshooting after setup. It highlights the importance of listing quality in achieving optimal ad performance on Amazon.
This update demonstrates Amazon's commitment to supporting sellers in optimizing their advertising efforts on the platform. Sellers are encouraged to take advantage of this feature to enhance their listings and maximize their advertising success on the platform.
📈 Amazon's AMC Elevates Offline Sales Tracking
Amazon's AMC now provides in-depth insights into offline sales through the NCS CPG Insights Stream. This paid feature offers advertisers modeled offline transaction signals for all US households.
By linking online engagement to in-store purchases, advertisers can measure ROAS, improve ad targeting, and understand cross-channel customer journeys. This meets the increasing demand for a complete understanding of customer behavior.
🤖 New AI Tool or Army of Industrious Workers?
Remember the buzz when Amazon seemingly pulled off an "AI triumph" by closing cash registers with their Just Walk Out technology? Well, hold onto your hats because here's the twist: rumor has it, that it was actually the handy work of thousands of Indian workers behind the scenes. Sneaky, right?
And now, as Amazon rolls out its Package Decision Engine, one can't help but wonder... are they pulling the same trick again? Are those "AI" cameras and sensors really just a guise for another army of industrious workers? Who knows what's really going on behind the curtain at Amazon HQ? For all we know, those delivery drones might just be remote-controlled toy helicopters!
