🤝🏻 Amazon Partners With YouTube Shopping to Expand Creator-Led Commerce

Amazon is expanding its presence in YouTube Shopping, allowing eligible U.S. creators to promote Amazon products directly through their content. The integration creates a more direct path from creator recommendations to Amazon purchases.

Key Updates:

  • Eligible U.S. creators can tag Amazon products in YouTube content.

  • Product tagging will be available across Shorts, long-form videos, and livestreams.

  • Viewers can discover and purchase products promoted by creators they already follow.

Amazon is increasingly meeting shoppers where discovery already happens. The creator-to-purchase journey is getting shorter—and more platforms are becoming part of it.

🎦 Amazon DSP Expands Automated Deal Selection for Video Ads

Amazon DSP is expanding its automatic deal selection feature for Streaming TV and Online Video campaigns, reducing the manual work required to choose ad inventory and making video campaign setup faster.

Key Updates:

  • Amazon can automatically select deals based on budget, audience targeting, and campaign dates.

  • The feature has expanded beyond the U.S. to Canada, Mexico, Brazil, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.

  • Selected deals are shown with their pricing and dates before the campaign launches, while advertisers can still add deals manually.

  • The feature remains in beta and is currently limited to awareness campaigns optimized for reach.

The expansion makes video campaign setup faster and less manual. Advertisers can spend less time sorting through available deals and more time focusing on strategy. It also gives brands another way to scale video campaigns across multiple markets.

🔄 Amazon Ads Is Replacing Product Collections With Sponsored Brands Collections

Amazon Ads is launching Sponsored Brands Collections to replace Product Collections, allowing multiple products in one ad for better shopper personalization. The transition will occur from September 2026 to February 2027.

Key Updates:

  • Sponsored Brands Collections can feature up to 10 related products, either selected manually or automatically by Amazon.

  • Starting in September 2026, eligible advertisers will receive migration recommendations in Campaign Manager and through the Ads API.

  • In February 2027, existing Product Collection campaigns will be automatically migrated if they haven't been moved manually.

Amazon is focusing on personalized shopping experiences. This could enhance ad performance for established brands, but may make it tougher for newer sellers to compete for shopper attention.

💰 Amazon Brings Back Second Chance Savings in the U.S.

Amazon is reintroducing Second Chance Savings for Labor Day, offering discounts on returned, refurbished, and second-hand items. This promotion emphasizes resale and helps sellers move eligible inventory.

Key Updates:

  • Second Chance Savings will be included in Amazon's U.S. Labor Day Deals.

  • The program features returned, refurbished, and second-hand products at discounted prices.

  • Amazon says U.S. customers purchased more than 100 million second-hand products last year, saving over $1.5 billion.

Amazon is expanding its resale business in the U.S. Brands must carefully consider pricing, margins, condition, and customer expectations, as the rising demand for second-hand products makes this a crucial sales channel.

🤖 Amazon Ads Agent Is Now Live in the Ad Console

Amazon has launched Ads Agent in the Ad Console, enhancing AI integration with the Marketing Cloud. The new interface simplifies management for users, while core AI features stay the same.

Key Updates:

  • Session history: Previous conversations are now saved, so advertisers can return to earlier analyses.

  • Better organization: Users can create folders and group related conversations by project or campaign.

  • Easy access: Important chats can be highlighted, while closed sessions can be reopened whenever needed.

The main improvement is the organization layer, enhancing ongoing AMC analysis by allowing multiple conversations, transforming a one-off interaction into a manageable workspace.

🆕 Amazon Ads Adds a Dedicated Ad Groups Tab to Campaign Manager

Amazon Ads has launched a new Ad Groups tab in the advertising console, improving campaign management and enabling faster navigation for daily tasks.

Key Updates:

  • A dedicated Ad Groups tab is now available in the Ads Console.

  • Advertisers can access and manage ad groups directly, without the need to navigate through individual campaign views.

  • This update simplifies navigation and day-to-day management of campaigns.

The new tab enhances efficiency for advertisers managing large accounts by streamlining their workflow. We are now waiting for similar updates for Search Terms from Amazon.

🚫 Amazon to Deactivate Individual FBM Offers at Risk of Account Health Issues

Amazon will change its Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) performance violation policy on August 31, temporarily deactivating affected listings instead of risking the entire account, offering better protection for sellers.

Key Updates:

  • Only the affected FBM offer will be deactivated, while other listings remain active.

  • Amazon will send a warning email with details and steps to resolve the issue before deactivation.

  • Sellers can review affected offers in Account Health → Other Policy Violations.

The policies focus on Cancellation Rate, Late Shipment Rate, Order Defect Rate, and On-Time Delivery Rate to reduce the impact of one issue on a seller's account. For FBM sellers, monitoring offer-level performance is essential.
