🚫 Amazon Blocks Meta’s New AI Shopping Agent Muse
Amazon has blocked Meta's AI shopping agent, Muse, for unauthorized access and improper identification, raising security concerns. This dispute highlights broader control issues in the evolving AI-driven commerce landscape.
Key Updates:
Amazon states that Muse lacks authorization to access the site, raising privacy and security concerns for customer accounts.
AI agents may change how shoppers find and buy products, potentially reducing Amazon's role in search and recommendations.
If shoppers use an AI agent for product discovery, it could manage comparisons, positioning Amazon as just one of many retail options.
The dispute highlights a shift in AI in e-commerce, with Amazon and Shopify adopting different strategies for agent-driven shopping that could impact discovery, comparison, and checkout.

📆 Amazon to Roll Out Automated Campaign Optimization in 2027
Amazon will introduce campaign auto-optimization in the U.S. in January 2027, automating keyword management, pausing weaker targets, and adjusting product targeting for seasonal demand. Advertisers can review and revert changes.
Key Updates:
Sellers can enable auto-optimization directly from campaign settings.
Amazon can add keywords, pause underperforming ones, expand product targeting, and adjust to seasonal opportunities.
Amazon reports that participating campaigns generated their first sale 40% faster and achieved 13% more sales during testing.
Amazon's ability to review and reverse changes gives advertisers more control, but higher sales don’t always mean better profitability. Sellers must monitor Amazon's additions, spending, and earnings.

🆕 Amazon Ads Rolls Out New Full Funnel Campaign Tab
Amazon Ads is introducing a new “Full Funnel” tab in the Ads Console. Though Full Funnel campaigns were announced in January 2026 for a Q1 launch, the tab's broader rollout to more advertiser accounts is what’s new.
Key Updates:
New Ads Console tab: A dedicated Full Funnel section is now appearing for additional advertiser accounts.
Campaigns are not new: Amazon launched Full Funnel campaigns in 2026, with the update focusing on console access and visibility.
Broader rollout: Amazon appears to be expanding access to the Full Funnel campaign experience across more accounts.
The new tab simplifies finding and managing Full Funnel campaigns, offering a centralized entry point for advertisers. This rollout shows Amazon's commitment to enhancing the Full Funnel experience in the Ads Console.

📊 Amazon Ads Tests New “Increased Conversions” Feature
Amazon Ads is currently testing a beta feature named "Increased Conversions" for Sponsored Brands campaigns, aimed at simplifying setup and helping advertisers expand their reach beyond Sponsored Products.
Key Updates:
Amazon can create a complementary Sponsored Brands campaign alongside an existing one.
Connects Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display across all stages of the customer journey.
Attribution is crucial because it lets you assess upper-funnel campaigns that may not lead to direct conversions.
Amazon is encouraging advertisers to take a full-funnel approach, despite the challenges in assessing campaign roles beyond last-click conversions. Advertisers should look beyond ROAS until attribution improves.

🖥 Amazon Accelerate 2026 Sessions Go Live on Seller Central
Amazon Accelerate 2026 will take place in the Seller Central Forums from September 22–24, featuring three major livestream sessions. Sellers unable to attend in person can access selected sessions for free and join community discussions.
Key Updates:
Three sessions livestreamed: Selected Amazon Accelerate sessions will be available directly through the Seller Central Forums.
Free remote access: Sellers can watch the sessions without attending Amazon Accelerate in person.
Community interaction: Dedicated discussion threads will allow participants to engage with Amazon community managers during the livestreams.
Remote sellers can now track key Accelerate announcements online, bringing event discussions to the Seller Central community. Sessions may also preview upcoming AI and infrastructure updates for seller tools.

‼️ Amazon Sellers Report Listings Disappearing From Manage Inventory
Sellers are reporting that their listings are disappearing from Manage Inventory without notice. This suggests a possible backend issue in Seller Central rather than standard policy enforcement.
Key Updates:
Affected sellers report that SKUs are disappearing from Manage Inventory without any compliance notice or explanation from Seller Support.
Listings in these reports completely disappear from the account view, unlike normal suppression, which shows them in Manage Inventory with an issue.
Affected sellers are opening support cases and keeping records while awaiting a resolution.
Amazon hasn't confirmed the cause of disappearances. Sellers should check for suppression or compliance issues before assuming a technical fault. Keeping All Listings and Category Listings reports can help recover missing listings.

📑 Amazon Tightens Commercial Liability Insurance Requirements
Amazon will update its commercial liability insurance requirements on November 2, 2026. The $10,000 monthly gross proceeds threshold will stay, but some categories, including sellers from mainland China, will need $1 million in coverage.
Key Updates:
Products requiring enhanced safety need $1 million in coverage, regardless of monthly sales under $10,000, including children's products and cosmetics.
Starting November 2, mainland China sellers must use the Amazon Insurance Accelerator for new policies, while existing ones remain valid until expiration.
Sellers must ensure their insurance meets Amazon's requirements and lists Amazon.com Services LLC and its affiliates as additional insured.
Sellers should check their catalog for updated category requirements by November 2. China-based sellers need to prepare for the AIA transition to avoid listing deactivations before Q4 promotions.
