💰 Amazon Ads Introduces New Payment Options for U.S. Advertisers

Amazon Ads has introduced new payment options for U.S. advertisers, allowing brands to use either Invoicing or Seller Account Balance alongside credit cards.

Key Updates:

  • Advertisers can now pay via 30-day invoice terms or deduct ad spend directly from their Seller Account Balance.

  • Invoice billing can improve cash flow by delaying payment for up to 30 days.

  • Seller Account Balance automatically deducts advertising costs from marketplace disbursements.

  • The new payment options are currently available for U.S. sellers, with additional markets expected to follow.

New billing options provide growing brands with more financial flexibility and simplify advertising payments. Sellers should choose the method that best suits their cash flow and accounting needs.

🆕 Amazon Confirms New Desktop Layout for Item Highlights

Amazon will position Item Highlights directly under the product title on desktop starting August 10, 2026, matching the mobile layout and clarifying its use for search optimization.

Key Updates:

  • Beginning August 10, Item Highlights will appear directly below the product title on both desktop and mobile.

  • The previous desktop layout displayed the title and highlights on a single line, separated only by a divider.

  • Amazon has confirmed that product titles and Item Highlights carry equal weight for search indexing.

The updated layout improves Item Highlights visibility while maintaining their search relevance. Brands should see the two fields as complementary, providing unique product information to enhance the shopping experience.

💬 Amazon Renames Seller Review Removal Feature

Amazon has changed the "Request Removal" option for Seller Reviews to "Request Review," causing confusion among sellers. The new wording resembles the process for requesting customer product reviews, making it less intuitive.

Key Updates:

  • The "Request Removal" option has been renamed to "Request Review" within Seller Reviews.

  • The feature itself has not been removed—only its name has changed.

  • Sellers have raised concerns that the new wording is confusing and could be mistaken for Amazon's review request feature.

  • The update is part of Amazon's broader changes to review management, which continue to limit direct interactions between sellers and customers.

While this appears to be a terminology change rather than a functional one, sellers should familiarize themselves with the new interface to avoid confusion when managing seller feedback.

📃 Amazon Updates Compliance Document Submission Process

Amazon has updated its compliance requirements. Now, testing laboratories must send product testing documents directly to Amazon for verification, replacing the previous method where brands uploaded reports themselves.

Key Updates:

  • Compliance testing documents must now be submitted directly by the testing laboratory.

  • The change is designed to improve document authenticity and reduce the risk of fraudulent or altered reports.

  • Brands should work closely with their testing partners to ensure documents are submitted correctly and on time.

  • Delays or errors in the submission process could impact product compliance and listing availability.

The update enhances trust in Amazon's compliance process but adds operational dependency. As regulations increase, effective coordination among brands, testing labs, and logistics partners will be crucial for maintaining product compliance and availability.

📆 Amazon Accelerate Opens Seller Café Appointments

Amazon has opened Seller Café appointments for Amazon Accelerate, allowing attendees to meet one-on-one with specialists to discuss account-specific challenges and receive direct guidance.

Key Updates:

  • Seller Café appointments are now available for booking ahead of Amazon Accelerate.

  • Sellers can meet with Amazon specialists to discuss topics such as account health, listings, operations, and brand growth.

  • Appointment availability is limited and expected to fill quickly.

Seller Café at Amazon Accelerate offers valuable access to Amazon experts, providing a rare chance to solve complex issues and address long-standing account challenges.

‼️ Amazon Clarifies Product Title Update Ahead of Rollout

Amazon has provided new guidance on its June 2026 product title update, clarifying how Item Name and Item Highlights will function as the new structure is implemented. This addresses several questions from sellers.

Key Updates:

  • Item Name and Item Highlights carry equal weight for search indexing—neither field is prioritized.

  • Listings will remain active, searchable, and editable throughout the transition.

  • Sellers have 14 days to review, modify, or approve AI-generated title updates before they're published.

  • Bulk updates can be managed through the Category Listings Report, with changes typically applied within eight hours.

Success now requires distributing product information across multiple fields instead of consolidating it. Sellers should review AI-generated suggestions to improve their listing structure rather than just meeting new requirements.

🧑🏻‍💻 Amazon Makes It Easier to Identify B2B Growth Opportunities

Amazon updated its FBA Enrollment Opportunities page to help sellers identify high-demand products for Amazon Business customers, highlighting eligible items that may perform better with FBA and estimating their potential impact.

Key Updates:

  • The FBA Enrollment Opportunities page now flags products with strong Amazon Business demand.

  • Sellers can view an estimated 90-day B2B sales uplift for eligible products.

  • The insights help identify products that may benefit from switching to FBA.

  • Business customers typically place larger orders and have lower return rates than retail shoppers.

The update helps sellers identify growth opportunities by focusing on ASINs with strong B2B potential, allowing brands to use FBA for better service to business customers instead of launching new products.
